Busy Weekend or She Is Not A Lesbian!

My pal, Alan from San Francisco, came for a visit this weekend and we had a lot of fun catching up and running about the city. We also took in the new John Water's film, "It's A Dirty Shame" ---- the second half was a bit weak, but Tracey Ullman doing the Hokey Pokey is worth the price of admission so I didn't feel ripped off or anything. I do not understand that NC-17 rating.

I spent Saturday doing some catch up work at the office and playing with Dusty. She and I had plenty of quality time while Karl was off to the Cape visiting his family.

Oh! And, after I found out from fellow blogger, Tim, that Allison Moyet had released a new CD --- I rushed out and found a copy. It is fantastic, as per usual. It is an album of standards -- mostly from the 60's. Anyway, I've loved her since I first saw her on the French & Saunders show in the late 80's. I have also always assumed she was a sister, a member of my team --- a lesbian. Guess this was a case of me projecting something on to her and her music, because she wrote liner notes for her new CD. Through out these notes she references her husband and their daughters! I was crushed. She is straight. Oh well, she still has an amazing set of pipes! Great CD!

Oh! And, I got to chat on the phone with Thomas of the former Homoesque site! It was so cool to hear his voice after reading his blog and emailing for so long! His voice is just as sweet and he is just as funny as his blog! By the way, he has made his new blog site avaiable for public viewing. Look to the right for a link! Click on "Thomas!"
