THIS MOMENT IN TIME WILL BE 20 YEARS AGO IN NOVEMBER...

I know this is the most cliched of human emotions, but I can remember the moment captured in the above photo as if it were yesterday. ...or, at the very least, the day before yesterday --- or, maybe last week. Anyway, the fabulous blonde in the picture with me was my best friend in crime. And, back then, many were committed. Another friend recently enjoyed looking at pictures of this person. And, it got me thinking nostalgic of a time during which I was not happy. Nor was she. But, we banded together and got thru it all and had more than a few laughs. This picture was taken on my 20th birthday, November 12th 1986. We look a little out of it ...and we probably were. But it was a great moment. I am glad it was captured. And, I put it here to share. We both look so young! ...I guess because we were. We're still close, but via email and the occasional phone call. We have each developed dramtically different lives, but there is a bond that will last till the day we die. A connection that no amount of time weakens.

...and which of us could ever forget all those movies we made when we each had designs to take over the cool factor in NYC! Ah, the dreams of youth!
