BLAME IT ON THE THIEVERY CORPORATION

Colds just suck. I woke up during the night with fever, chills and a throat on fire. I did my best --- I fell out of bed, showered, shaved, got dressed, tried to eat some oatmeal, drank a bit of hot tea w/honey and then I made a call to the office and crawled back into bed and stayed there for much of the day.

Actually, I guess I got up for an hour at 1pm-ish but must have fallen asleep while listening to this way-cool MP3 a friend sent me by Thugfucker. They are really great. Then I woke up at about 3:30pm and have pretty much been awake since. Only a few David Lynch moments thanks to extreme use of cold medicines.

I am feeling better and MUST go into work no matter what come sunrise. My throat is feeling much better! Which is a good thing because I am also meeting up with a friend tomorrow evening for dinner and really don't want to cancel. ...but I will if I need to -- don't want to make him sick. He is brand new to the city and that would not be cool!

Anyway, it was either out of boredom or a healthy return to hunger, but I just ate one of those giant Kit Kat bars! It could not be helped. I was listening to Thievery Corporation and they must use that backward masking technique the Baptists warned us about in the 80's --- encouraging me to eat lots of cheap/crap chocolate and worship Satan! You think I could have at least gone for something a bit more upscale. Alan has two huge baskets full of chocolate from the holidays, but I went for the Kit Kat's. Go figure. However, thus far I've not felt the urge to hail Lucifer or anything.

Oh! I've an interview with the Chief Principal at a downtown firm for next Monday! Yay! Send me many positive vibes and thoughts, please! I need a job and I need one fast!!!!
