Robert Carlyle In Tight Fitting Clothes ---- Thus the Movie Can't Be All Bad!

Saw "Once Upon A Time in the Midlands" tonight. The best things it had going for it were Robert Carlyle looking hot and Kathy Burke being funny. However, it was not near as good as I had expected. Karl didn't like it at all. I guess he needs more from a movie than a hot dude in tight-fitting clothes. Oh well. I am lucky he joined me as he NEVER goes out on a Friday night!

I am really looking forward to seeing "Millennium Actress" --- which opens next Friday. I am so there, but it looks like I may be seeing it all alone unless I can convince my pal, Duncan, to join me.

This is to be a busy weekend. Friends, Ellen & Chuck, with new baby, Will, are coming by tomorrow for brunch and a walk around Salem. Am looking forward to it --- I have never met Will! Then we have a birthday dinner tomorrow night with four friends ---- and another dinner on Sunday night. I guess I am quite the social butterfly this weekend!

Oh, and I have to get myself to the grocery store to prep for the start of my time on the Atkins Diet this Monday. Thank goodness for Thomas ---- He came to my aid and told me all about the vitamins I will need to take as I consume massive quantities of fat! Yum! ...but no more chocolate or soda. This is going to be difficult, but the weight I've picked up over the past 6 months should melt away!!!
