Cool Movie! Further Adventures in Anime

I went for a drive today while Karl and Pete played Scrabble. Ended up at a store where I purchased a used DVD of the anime feature, "Metropolis" I LOVED it! The visuals, the story and the music. Just loved it. It reminded me more of another anime film than the silent classic. I'm not sure why, but I kept thinking of a film I saw called "Arika" --- saw it years ago, but this film reminded me of it. However, I enjoyed this film more. Can't wait to explore the extras on the second DVD ---- which is a "pocket" DVD. I've never seen a DVD in this format. Interesting... Oh, and I finally broke down and ordered a copy of "My Neighbor, Toroto" ---- it should be in soon! Can't wait to see the catbus thing!
