Vitamin L!

Does anyone remember the character portrayed by Mary Kay Place on the television series, "Mary Hartman! Mary Hartman!"? Her character's name was Loretta Haggars and she was a bad country western singer in search of better peforming venue than the local bowling alley. Anyway, Loretta wrote her own songs. Songs which were so ground-breakingly bad they were actually quite inspired. One of my personal favorite songs was an ode to her favorite vitamins --- with the added zing of a wish for a vitamin for LUV.

As I approach the Atkins' Diet, Thomas
was kind enough to send me an email warning me that water and vitamins were essential in being healthy while surfing the Atkins' way. The only problem is that my knowledge of a vitamins is limited to a bad country song from a cult TV show from the 1970's. What am I to do?

I consulted The New Diet Revolution book by Dr. Atkins and he does devote some time to discussing vitamins, but mostly just to plug another of his books on vitamins. Somehow I think I am going to need more than a daily one-hit wonder vitamin. The water I've got covered, but I worry about the vitamins.

I did ask my psychologist for guidance on the way of vitamins, but he was of little to no help ---- though we did some good work regarding the importance of self-esteem! Oh well, I am open to advice. I'll be needing to pick up my vitamins this weekend as I start the Atkins' diet on Monday!

Tomorrow is Friday and am all excited because a British film I've been dying to see is opening ---- "Once Upon a Time in the Midlands" with Kathy Burke! And, I think Karl might actually join me at the cinema --- a rare thing indeed!

...and a brief cause for concern

Folks are finding my blog site by searching for such things as: 1) "Mena Suvari Taking A Dump" and 2) "Horses Mating"
Quite worrying all-in-all.
