FOR GOD'S SAKE! WHEN WILL THIS RIGHT WING PARANOIA END!?!?

...I mean, I am sorry. But, when Paramount decidess to shelf all of the manufactured copies of the DVD release of the Berry Gordy/Diana Ross classic 1975, MAHOGANY, the day before it was to hit the stores -- wel, that is just plain wrong! Impeach! Impeach, I say! This has all gone too far!

I've been waiting for years to see Ms. Ross play that fashion model on the rise with both Billy Dee AND Anthony Perkins (reprising his PSYCHO role in the form of a coked-up fashion photographer) on her tail. Not to mention all of the clothes that Miss Ross actually designed for the film! In digitally restored glam widescreen treatment. I am so upset! And, no. I don't know where I'm going to! How can I when I live in a country where such a masterpiece is being withheld from popular consumption!?!?

On top of that I am 39 now. It isn't easy, but someone has to do it!

The question is....will you another 39th birthday next year?

BTW- I know I only met you once, but you look much thinner in the picture! Don't diet too much. I hope you aren't a carb nazi.....

Jon -- LOL! A Carb Nazi! No, I just gave up sugar except my one cookie a day and I cut my portions served at restaurants in half and I am quite active now. I got the best physcial I've had since I was in my mid-20's. Cholesteral, etc. I am in much better shape than when we met. I think I've lost close to 45 pounds since then. I now weigh 155lbs. ...which is about what a 5'8" person should weigh. Tho, I would not mind gaining up a bit. Tho, I feel SOOOOO much better at this weight. So, I am not going to stress over it.

Besides, as Eddie informed Saffy --- "Because she's THIN, sweetie darling!" LOL!

And, it is such fun to be able to wear proper clothing again!!! Yay!

But, I've nothing against carbs.

One cookie a day? ONE?!?! Quels horreurs, mon cher! Please at least have two; you'll need the energy to burn at that gym, y'know...

You are too damn cute. And ps., you suck, cutting sugar and portions doesn't work for me. I had to pay weight watchers a small fortune and then pay another small fortune to the grocery store to buy a separate shopping list (me, vs. family) and then hike my ass off, literally. And at that, it all came back after W. was born!

You need to eat something properly fattening and soon. If you lose anymore weight we won't be able to see you. MWAH.

But, the real question is...do you know where you're going to? Do you like the things that life is showing you?

Lauren -- Yes! We MUST mobilize and get all those DVD's freed! ...and, at least one of them in my player. Oh, how I do love the scene where the butterflies fly out from under her big skirt against that dreamy musical syling of Michael Masser! Seriously, tho -- Paramount will not issue a statemetnt! I am just so upset!

Miss. Marisol -- Well, no not really. And, actually, the last time I looked behind me there were no open doors. But, I've a hope that someone might reach out and touch me sooner or later if I hang in there long enough!
